He was not given the time to change or contact his lawyers because of the Grayson family influence that Elijah used to get Daniel behind the bars as soon as possible. It was one of those few instances where he actually used his family name to get something done.

When he was brought to the police station, Elijah had to reign in his anger and keep himself from lunging at the bastard who had dared to hurt Seraphina. On the other hand, the moment Daniel spotted Elijah at the police station, he understood what must have happened but what he did not understand was how the hell did Elijah got to know about his involvement in Seraphina's case.
