When he had expanded the specifics of the final reward, he was redirected to a pop-up window of what looked like an End User Agreement. The "restricted access removed" was essentially an amendment and fixing a connectivity issue with the planet.

All the legalese and technical English he read basically proved several theories of the System that floated around in their previous world along with debunking others. It also created new questions.
