บท 4: The Conflict
[The target has been found.]
System's cold voice jerked the consciousness of Dravid who was gonna ignore this quarrel on the road.
"Okay, let's see who is yelling at my future girlfriend,"
Although Dravid has been a loser in his previous life, but he was still a good natured man.
He forcefully squeezed through crowd and stared at a figure in cloak.
"You wench! Why the mage association hasn't locked you up yet?"
A middle aged man was pointing towards a figure in cloak with disgust on his face.
He looked angry and had his eyebrows raised for some reason.
The figure in cloak was silent and didn't move a bit but had her head down which was hidden by cover.
Looking at her, the green particles in Dravid's body started circulating as if their origin was calling them.
Seeing this, Dravid observed his surroundings and found no one said anything instead had ridicule in their eyes.
"System, scan the middle aged man and the target for me!"
Dravid commanded before he interfered in the matter.
[Ding!Command accepted.]

The data wasn't out of his expectation since even though he was better at some points.
He was worse at strength and especially Dravid didn't have any scroll with him so he couldn't use any spell against him.
"Okay, what about the target?"

"Holy what?! She can easily kill that guy but still listening to his insults like a stone,"
Dravid was astonished to see her being so non reactive.
Even though, she was injured, she could easily flip the guy upside down.
The crowd was still being indifferent to this incident as if it was natural.
"Okay whatever. I should at least shut the mouth of this guy since it's very uncultured to yell at someone publicly without any reason."
Dravid murmured to himself.
Ka Bam!
He stepped into the scene with a loud bang as he jumped like a hero.
Everyone's eyes widened by this sudden intrusion in the scene, and observed the young man with curious eyes.
He landed with dignity and had very serious look in his eyes.
Dravid turned around and looked at the hidden figure in cloak, and shook his head.
Shina had dead look in her eyes as she stared at him with no hope in her heart.
No one is so merciful to save someone without any reason especially against a giant family in the city.
"Why you are making such a big commotion?"
Dravid forcefully spoke in deep voice but his appearance was still giving him away.
Everyone on the scene stared at him with sharp intent.
Even though, it felt like he was interrogating the guy dominantly but in reality he was scared since the winning chances were quite low.
The middle aged man was surprised for a second and looked at this new intruder.
"Who are you? How dare you question me like that?"
It was the first time someone actually dared to speak against Jonathan family in their own fortress.
Everyone heard his voice and nodded.
"Who is this reckless calf who dares to question Jonathan family?"
"Probably he wants some popularity."
"Yeah, but he provoked wrong person!"
Many onlookers had twisted expression on their faces since they were expecting a good show.
Many even took out their phone and started recording this scene in hope of getting good views.
John became furious as he saw this reckless defender of that druid.
"She became prideful after getting good rank in academy and plotted my family, a mere druid should be beheaded for that act,"
John was full of disdain as he pointed at the girl in cloak.
But that still didn't answer the question why everyone was against her at the scene.
[Druid were creatures of forest and they still worshipped the nature.
So, even though human mage society accepted them but they couldn't assimilate with them since one had ambition of conquering nature and other had only worship for nature in their heart.]
System's icy voice alarmed Dravid as he couldn't figure out why everyone was against the girl.
It turns out that it was due to different goals of the races.
Now, many conservative people were against her because of race and of course nobody dared to go against big family.
Dravid found these mobs disgusting as they could only follow and get scared of powerful people.
"Then the mage association should decide her fate not you,"
His words directly hit the spot of John since he didn't have any rights to judge the girl.
He confronted him on point because he was student of Ban academy, which was branch for students of the mage association.
And since she was going to become his future girlfriend, he wanted this drama to stop.
"What?"
John was full of surprises and directly announced.
"She is a druid who has offended my family countless times, do you think i will let her go?"
For first time, after listening to John's voice, the girl in the cloak trembled but quickly composed herself.
Dravid became angry after seeing John was taking him too lightly.
"Hey, I have been listening to your bullshit for a long time. Now when i say stop it, you are supposed to stop,"
Dravid squinted his eyes and directly gazed into John's eyes making him tremble for a moment.
[Host is really being a gentleman who dares to take on anyone for goodness and justice]
"What bullshit Justice! I know she can kill that racist man if we are in fatal danger so i am not worried,"
Dravid smiled profusely in the middle of eye contact scaring the shit out of John.
"System!Can you give me full story of Shina?"
[The host's level is too low]
Sigh!
Dravid shook his head and took a deep breath.
[Ding! You made good first impression on Shina. Point +1]
[Host can now see the story of Shina in the city. Is host willing to spend one point?]
"....."
"Yes,"
Dravid said without any hesitation.
