Rishi was on the verge of escaping, but he hesitated, choosing to remain.

His familiarity with demons played a significant role in this decision. Despite their frightening nature, demons were not entities that could be easily commanded.

The likelihood of a direct confrontation between Rishi and the high demon seemed minimal.

High Demons preferred to exert control over others rather than submit to orders. Patience became Rishi's only ally as he waited, understanding that time alone would unveil the unfolding events.

A mysterious crack appeared above the altar, and from it, black smoke was released. It was filled with a stench that Rishi had never felt.

Soon, lightning rained in that area. The crack widened, and then, from it, a silhouette became visible.

It was a manifestation of the High Demon, shrouded by thick black smoke.

His head was made up of red lightning. It was inside a strange hood made of dark smoke.
