บท 2: Chapter 2 - Meet The Family
Lmao I almost published the chapter name as "Meat The Family" lmao!

Raven followed Empress, who's name he STILL hasn't gotten, to his new room, which was near hers, and stared at the items hanging on the wall.
"Lady Hera has a very… unique taste for decorations. She likes to show off trophies of thoses she has beaten and defeated. The sword there is from when we conquered the Métis familia." Empress explained as they finally arrived at the dormitory area of the mansion.
"This will be your room. My room and office is down at the end of this hall." Empress said as she started moving that way, but not before turning to Raven. With a small smile she walked off.
"Fuck, I forgot to ask for her actual name." Raven complained to himself as he entered his room and found it spartan like, but he expected as much.
It was a plain room. White walls made of marble. A single window glancing into the courtyard. A bed in the corner. A closet. A dresser. That was it.
"Wait, I can't even go to the dungeon till I get someone to help me register. Fuck." Raven complained again with a pout of annoyance. What a pain.
"Guess I'll take a walk." Raven said and exited his room while slipping his key into his pocket. The key had originally been left in the doorknob, to show it was unoccupied.
As he walked around the manor, he took in all the trophies as Empress had called them. Hera at least had good taste in she showed them off. They didn't clash against the designs or the manor.
Walking around he arrived in the courtyard he saw from his window and decided to relax there. The sun felt nice, plus he decided to experiment a little.
Closing his eyes as he laid down, he could sense the exilia in the air, he tried to pull it into himself, but it was such a slow rate that he would be lucky if his stats would even go up by a couple points in a day.
Of course if he entered his battle form and truly focused on the task, he could do much better, but he'd rather go in the dungeon and have fun that way.
"Hello there!" A voice said and opening his eyes, Raven was treated to the sight of two females. He had a feeling who they were already since one was in a wheelchair being pushed around by another with dual colored eyes and black gloves on.
"Hi." Raven said as he stood up and dusted himself off, offering a handshake, he could practically feel the glare of Alfia aimed at him.
"I'm Materia, and this is my twin sister Alfia. Miss Empress told us all you were joining the familia and I was curious how a guy joined." The named Materia asked curiously.
"Blackmail, plus I didn't really have an option. I had no money, no family and no money. It was either accept her blackmail of getting annoyed till I join, or try my luck, which would probably end up in a war game from what I heard about Hera." Raven said with a quiet laugh.
"Ohhhh! Miss Hera never considered accepting boys though, why did she accept you?" Materia asked herself and Raven smiled mysteriously.
"Now that is known only to our goddess." He answered.
"Yeah haha." Materia laughed in agreement. Alfia just sighed in annoyance with her eyes closed. Clearly she wasn't happy with him talking to her sister.
"Well it was a pleasure Materia. I'm going to go find our captain so I can hopefully get registered to go dungeon exploring." Raven said and Materia stopped him.
"Won't you need gear though?" She asked worried a bit and he smiled as he allowed a bit of golden lightning to twirl around his hands.
"I'll be fine." He assured, though he did feel happy at her worryment for him. After all, how many guys can say they had many people worry for them? Even if it was just a few, it was an amazing feeling.
"Thanks for your worry though." He finished as he allowed the Lightning to fade as he walked off.

"Empy, how do I register to go in the dungeon?" Raven asked as he entered her office, the look she gave him had him grinning.
"Don't call me that." She said with a small blush on her face. "As for how, you have to go to the guild and register, alongside at least an executive of the familia. I supposed I can take you to get registered in a hour. Just go and wait for me in the courtyard." Empress said and he nodded cheerfully.
"Ok, thank you Empy!" He said and left, just barley avoiding the pen thrown into the wall at fast speeds.

Five hours later, and an excruciating amount of paperwork later, apparently he had to also do registeration paperwork as a person new to Orario. Then do the familia joining paperwork.
When offered a chance for a dungeon advisor, he declined, after all, he'd rather explore the dungeon like a true adventurer. Plus he had his meta knowledge on the dungeon. The only changes would be lost floor 59, and he wouldn't have to worry about that for a while.
"Yay dungeon!" Raven cheered to himself as he walked through the first floor of the dungeon. He had a small pouch for monster cores, and a small dagger provided for him.
He only took the dagger so he could cut out the cores of the monsters. He did need that moola after all.

Eventually after an hour of boring torturus walking, he finally came upon his first target. A lone goblin just existing as it walked the first floor.
With a grin he rushed forward and slammed into the goblin to disorientate it, a moment to regain his balance, he landed a punch to the throat of the goblin and followed it up by kicking its feet out from under it. Then stomping its throat as it fell to the ground.
It struggled, clawing at his leg, but all it did was dirty his pants before he stomped again even harder, fully crushing its throat and ending its life.
Ensuring he wasn't watched by anyone, besides the ever watching dungeon, he used the dagger cut out the monster stone, well he just cut open its chest down the middle and took out the shiny stone, and then watched as it went up in dark smoke leaving behind only its blood.
"Oh yeah, that felt good." Raven laughed before suddenly dodging out of the way as a goblin spawned from the room aiming to stab him with its claws.
"Hey I was having a moment asshole!" Raven growled as he fired a bolt of lightning at the monster and instantly putting a hole through its chest and destroying the core.
"Damnit! I needed that." He pouted before sighing as he continued on walking through the floor, perhaps he'd go to floor two if he could find the stairs down.
Meanwhile far back, a set of green and silver eyes watched, while also casually stomping to death a goblin by destroying its core.
