บท 1: Rebirth in the Fire

Sizzle... Sizzle...

Hot tongues of fire licked every inch of his skin, and red flames burned his torn wounds.

Lynn's eyes were filled with blood red. He pushed the child in his arms away from the fire with all his strength and knelt on the ground due to exhaustion.

The devouring flames blackened his skin, and the constant pain left him too weak to rise.

Lynn's vision gradually became blurry, not only due to the distorted air under the high temperature, but also because of his gradual loss of consciousness.

His world became dark and empty, and the burning sensation caused by the fire gradually faded.

After an unknown amount of time, Lynn regained consciousness under a warm light. He opened his eyes and wanted to say something, but what came out was the childish sound of a "beep."

Am I... reborn?

Lynn lifted his chubby little hands, and his little eyes were filled with doubt.

Suddenly, Lynn was lifted by a pair of thin hands with ugly wrinkles. Before he could clearly see the owner of these hands, which did not seem human at all, he was placed on his mother's pillow in this life.

His mother in this life was a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and black pupils. After learning that her child had been born healthy and safe, she fell asleep peacefully.

Lynn looked at the ceiling, as if finding it hard to accept what was happening before him.

After a long time, a feeling of exhaustion overtook him. Lynn closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

...

Time passed year by year, just as Merlin's socks were changed one by one.

In the blink of an eye, eleven years had passed since Lynn was reborn into this world.

1990, England, Rolle Manor.

This is a magnificent medieval mansion. In the center of the mansion is an older-looking castle. However, although the castle's exterior appears dilapidated and filled with age, the interior decoration of the castle follows the rhythm of the times with a magnificent atmosphere.

In the second-floor window room of the castle, Lynn stood in front of a full-length mirror with a golden border.

In the full-length mirror, there was a handsome boy with a slightly childish face, but a hint of maturity in his dark red eyes. If you looked closely, you could even find some traces of him in his boyish hair.

This dark red hair color, which seems streaked, is something Lynn was born with, not something he acquired.

In this world, Lynn's name is Lynn Rowle, transcribed as Lynn Rowle. His surname is one of the twenty-eight pure-blood families.

Yes, the world Lynn is now in is the magical world of Harry Potter, and when he was born, the owner of those thin hands covered in ugly wrinkles was Gale, the house-elf of Rowle Manor.

At that moment, Lynn finished adjusting his tie and turned his gaze away from the full-length mirror.

Suddenly, a crashing sound came from the window.

It was an owl repeatedly banging on the window, trying to enter. There was a letter in the owl's beak.

"Is it finally here?"

Lynn's eyes shone with an imperceptible joy. He quickly opened the window, let the gray puffball owl in, and took the letter from its mouth.

The envelope was made of thick parchment, and the address was written in emerald green ink.

Room next to the window on the second floor of Rolle Manor Castle

Mr. Lynn Rowle

Upon seeing this extremely detailed address, the corners of Lynn's mouth curved slightly.

Lynn turned the envelope over and saw a wax seal, a shield, and a capital "H" surrounded by a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake.

Lynn, who had read Harry Potter twice in his previous life, was naturally very familiar with the emblem of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Although he could almost memorize the content of the letter, Lynn nervously and excitedly pulled out the first sheet of paper.

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore

(President of the International Confederation of Wizards, First-Class Order of Merlin, and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot)

Dear Mr. Rowle:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Enclosed is a list of required books and supplies.

The term is scheduled to begin on September 1st. We will be awaiting your owl's response by July 31st.

Sincerely,

Deputy Headmistress

Minerva McGonagall."

After reading the first sheet of paper, Lynn took the second sheet from underneath.

The second sheet contained the uniforms, books, wands, and other supplies that Lynn would need to enroll at Hogwarts. After Lynn noted them one by one, he put them back in the envelope along with the first sheet of paper.

Uf~

Lynn let out a long sigh. Although he had already prepared for what happened today, when he received the acceptance letter to Hogwarts, it still felt like he had just woken up from a dream.

What followed immediately was excitement!

What Harry Potter fan didn't dream of receiving an acceptance letter to Hogwarts as a teenager?!

Breaking!

Lynn carefully tucked the envelope into his pocket, then raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

With a loud pop, Gale, the house-elf of Rohr Manor, appeared in front of him.

This house-elf wore a blue and white pillowcase. Although it looked very wrinkled and ugly, the new pillowcase and his clean skin made him appear very neat.

"Master, your breakfast is ready! The lady is already having dinner downstairs," Gale said, bowing to Lynn.

"I see."

Lynn nodded slightly, then went downstairs.

In the center of the living room on the first floor of the castle, there was a round table, and the blonde woman sitting at the table was none other than Lynn's mother, Rowena Rowle.

Lynn's mother, Rowena Rowle, has a name similar to Rowena Ravenclaw, the founder of Hogwarts' Ravenclaw House, but there is no connection between the two. She graduated from Slytherin.

Lynn quickly finished his breakfast, set the knife and fork down, and said, "Mom, I just received a letter from the owl and I plan to ask Gale to take me to Diagon Alley to buy the books and supplies needed for school."

Rowena nodded and said softly, "Take care!"

Rowena wasn't worried about Lynn being in danger when he went to Diagon Alley with the house-elf Gale following him. Even if Lynn went to Knockturn Alley, he probably wouldn't be in too much danger.

After all, the magical abilities of house-elves surpass those of most wizards. Otherwise, after Dobby was freed in the original books, he wouldn't have been able to easily repel Lucius Malfoy.

Lynn didn't say anything, he just hugged his mother tightly.

Since his rebirth, he and Rowena had relied on each other. Apart from the house-elf Gale, Rowena was the only person in the world Lynn could trust.

As for his father, Hendry Rowle, he had once been a Death Eater, but ten years ago, Hendry was killed by the suspect Voldemort with the Killing Curse for hiding something from him.

At that time, Rowena had just become pregnant with him.

If the Fidelius Charm hadn't been placed on Rohr Manor and Voldemort hadn't been able to discover it, even Rowena and Lynn, still in the womb, would have been brutally killed.

But strangely, Rowena didn't even know who the secret keeper of the Fidelitas Charm in Rohr Manor was.

Fortunately, Voldemort fell a year after Lynn's birth, so Rowena no longer feared for their lives every day.

After releasing his mother, Lynn grabbed Gale's left hand.

Gale raised his right hand and snapped his fingers. With a loud pop, Lynn and Gale vanished from the spot.

The Leaky Cauldron, London.

Lynn and Gale appeared in front of the Leaky Cauldron, and Lynn looked around with some curiosity.

Although Lynn had left Rohr Manor many times in the past eleven years, he had never been in the magical world. For self-protection, he suppressed his curiosity and only stayed in the Muggle world. Modern electronic devices, like refrigerators, were the result of his efforts to use Muggle technology to transform the castle.

In terms of daily life, it must be admitted that ordinary people know how to have much more fun than these outdated wizards.

Lynn's first impression of the Leaky Cauldron was that it was dirty. The lights in the Leaky Cauldron were very dim, and the tables and floor of the bar seemed to be covered with a layer of oil stains, which made people feel uncomfortable.

"Seems like a new face, a young wizard. Is this your first time at the Leaky Cauldron?"

Old Tom, the owner of the Leaky Cauldron, was happily cleaning the cup he had in his hand with a cloth and looked at Lynn.

He looked past Lynn and saw the house-elf Gale behind him, and understood.

It seemed like a young wizard from a pure-blood family.

"Yes, sir. I want to enter Diagon Alley."

Lynn replied.

Old Tom nodded and walked to the back of the bar, not forgetting to continue cleaning the dirty glass in his hand.

Lynn followed him to a small courtyard surrounded by walls and looked at the solitary trash bin placed next to the wall.

"Remember, count three paces from here, then count two paces along the path, and finally tap it with your wand."

Old Tom tapped the wall with the tip of his wand three times as a routine.

Lynn saw the bricks that Old Tom tapped tremble rapidly. The bricks moved and formed a gradually larger hole in the middle. This hole eventually became a wide arch.

In front of the arch was a cobbled street, which was Diagon Alley, the most prosperous shopping street in the British magical world.

Lynn crossed through the hole and turned around before it started to shrink and asked, "By the way, why don't you use magic to clean the cup? I think the scouring charm should be able to do the job."

Old Tom waved the dirty cup in his hand and laughed, "But that's part of the fun itself! It's like you can go straight to Diagon Alley, right?"

As soon as Old Tom finished speaking, the increasingly smaller hole disappeared and became a wall again.

Seeing this, Lynn laughed.

Yes, he could have asked the house-elf Gale to Apparate him directly to Diagon Alley, but he had to experience the famous scene in person through the Leaky Cauldron.
