บท 54: Hunger

Even with a look of unconcealed judgment on his handsome face, there was still a visible smile in Xuan Yang's eyes. 

Xu Feng had no idea if the man had calmed down sometime on their walk back to Blooming courtyard or if it was for a reason, but the Xuan young master was calm now. Like the morning hadn't happened.

Xuan Jian on the other hand had taken away the bright smile he was flaunting just moments earlier. He wasn't upset though. The warmth radiating from him could easily be felt even in the absence of a smile.

Xu Feng looked curiously back and forth between the two men with slow moving glances.

He wasn't short enough that he had to look too far up to take in their faces, but doing so for too long still strained his neck.

'Not worth it.' Beauty was only worth so much to him.
