บท 374: His Crime

Aviona's hand was shaking and her tears once again started falling from her eyes. She looked down at the documents again, reading the whole thing over and over again.

"Did you do this to end up my misery or you did this to end up yours?" Aviona suddenly accused.

"Aviona, I… I don't know to explain this to you," There was some glint of guilt in his voice.

When he knew that Martin was barren, Dr. Miles became ultimately concern on how the couple would go through it, especially on how Aviona would deal with it. However, he admitted within him that it wasn't the only reason why he made some unconsented procedures in their IVF process. There was also some force within him, a personal force and longing that got him to do such a forbidden act.

"Explain this to me and tell the truth right to my face," Aviona pleaded. She felt so betrayed on what Dr. Miles did but she couldn't dare to hate the doctor.
