Is this a translation, I'm pretty sure that I read this somewhere, the name and abilities of the characters are the same as that one so correct me if I'm wrong.
I think you should continue. It's progressing very nicely: you already have major plot points to continue towards: upcoming struggle with Kumo, being Hokage, then maybe a time-skip for the beginning of the Uchiha Massacre plot, then time skip to canon, their arcs. It's interesting how would he deal with Suna-Konoha economic tension, with him being the one who dealt with them in the previous ninja war. What's his outlook on them? How would he deal with Gato? How would he deal with Fourth Raikage. Also, I've noticed that you post almost every day. That's a very high tempo, even considering how short some of the chapters are.
