Argo stood at by the door of the church, watching the battle unfold.
"What-? What's going on? Why are they fighting? What happened?" Eida stood beside him peeking out of the window, watching with curiosity rather than horror.
He couldn't help but remember that she was a Lady of the South, through and through.
Only a lady from there would look at the carnage slowly unfolding before their eyes, and be more curious as to how it started, than startled by the bloodshed itself.
"I would recommend that you stay away from the windows, Young Lady. Or a stray arrow may find it's mark," Father Marcus kept an unreadable expression on his face as he said a short prayer, "Unless that mask is arrow proof, I suggest you make your choice quickly."
Argo glanced out of the side windows, where those Cloaks who were still there, and had kept hidden from the White Stream, were lurking preparing to enter.
Good evening.
I will be attempting to hit a 1 chapter per/day Schedule in light of the fact that Win-Win is going on right now, but, if I feel that the quality would drop, then I'll immediately withdraw.
But I will try for now.
I hope your all having a fantastic day! Make sure to get some quality time with the stars here in a few days, since all the planets will be aligned!
Thank you for your support, and as always,
Enjoy!
