Shikera slowly opened her eyes, taking in the now familiar lavish surroundings of Elovien's luxurious stateroom. The white silk headliner gently curved over her, creating a feeling of being cocooned in luxury. A soft breeze from the air conditioning system wafted over her, gently rustling the sheer curtains that framed the porthole window. As she sat up, she felt the cool, soft satin sheets slide against her skin. Her gaze drifted to the gold-plated fixtures and fittings that adorned the room as she let out a tired sigh.

They had been on this yatch for God knows how many days, and all through, she had been mostly out of herself. She could not let Ethan suspect her pregnancy so she always put up a strong front whenever she was with him.
