The gray tone of the scene was dark and depressing. 

Four figures appeared at the resurrection point. 

Although it was a single-player game, the selected mode had a 'Hell' difficulty level, so the four of them encountered a monster attack as soon as they jumped out of the resurrection point.

In the early stages of the game, the characters would not have much gold to buy equipment. Hence, they were extremely fragile, especially the three output characters.
