บท 53: A CARROT AND A STICK

The meeting was a success for Leticia who was suddenly dragged into the salon of the Imperial Palace specifically, where the King was waiting.

And now, they're back at the drawing room where the secret passage was located.

Leticia deeply sighed. And Hugh looked at him with concern.

"Are you okay, Leti? Dizzy?"

When she looked at him, she couldn't help but glare. Seriously, this time she's really pissed!

'I can't do this!'

She took her arm off from him and Hugh had a question mark on his face at Leticia's action.

"What's wrong?" Hugh asked.

"Are you seriously asking?"

Her tone came off sharp and Hugh was baffled as to why.

"Haaa…!" Leticia sighed with her head down. 

Trying to calm her nerves as she breathed in and out. She was patient with him because Hugh was going to help her with Anton's case. She really tried hard to do what he wanted but she can't do this anymore.
