บท 114: Lonely Birthday Night

"When you asked me to fly over the dark sea, I could see the sun so clearly. You also took down all the dark clouds and turned them into rain, causing lots of rainbows to appear. It was magnificently beautiful, Sir."

"That is it?"

Edna didn't know what else to say.

"Um.. when you helped me at the plaza as I was about to be sentenced to death, I felt very relieved and grateful."

Maxieno was still not satisfied with Edna's answer. The girl gave a series of answers when it came to Otis and Luffy. However, when it was Maxieno's turn, she had difficulty answering it and even had to think hard.

It was so unfair.

"Back to the question. Tell me honestly, is it your birthday today?"

Edna nodded. "Yes, Sir."

"Otis always asked for a day off on his birthday. Are you going to do the same? I can give you a day off."

Edna politely refused. "No, Sir. I don't need things like that."

"Why? Is there any other gift you would like?"
