บท 123: 123- Camp- Vs Teigo Middle (END)

After the god first out, Rei felt more confident. The next batter came up and Rei asked for a high pitch. He expected the batter to leave it for an easy strike, but unexpectedly; the batter brought his bat down and connected perfectly, and the ball went through the 1st and 2nd base. Kiyoshi ran towards the ball while the runner already crossed the 1st base and was going for the 2nd.

As Kiyoshi picked the ball and threw it to Chino at 2nd, the runner dove towards the plate and reached it before he got tagged out. Chino exhaled and threw the ball back to Suzaku. Rei looked at this and got back into position, trying to concentrate on the next player. 

Rei asked for the first pitch to the middle. He wanted to get this done. Suzaku had a similar thought and pitched into his mitt with all his strength. The batter let it go by knowing he won't be able to connect properly. Rei threw it back and asked for an inside pitch this time.
