บท 1384: Suited

As though the scrawny man's prayer was heard, the sewer lid moved.

A black figure moved out of the sewer and walked towards the car of the scrawny man.

"Boss, hurry!" the scrawny man rolled down the window and said quickly.

He heaved a long breath when he saw the black figure.

"Mn. Soon."

The black figure nodded as he walked towards the car. When he reached the driver's window, he grabbed the scrawny man's throat and dragged him out of the car. The dagger in his right hand followed right after, driving towards the man's neck.

Words stuck in the scrawny man's throat; all he could do was look at the dagger coming down toward him with a horrified expression.

Then…

A strong light appeared.

The blinding light stopped the thrusting dagger. The black figure then moved the scrawny man by the throat and used him as a meat shield, putting him in front of himself while holding the dagger against the man's neck.
