บท 259: Did It Hurt?

The wizard struggled to breathe, but no matter what he did, he remained helpless, unable to escape from the dangerous man in front of him. He realized that it was impossible for this man to be  human. 

How could he not see through him? Could it be this powerful man was wearing an ancient artifact that could conceal his real race?

The next moment, Arlan and that wizard disappeared from the alley, only to appear far away from the city, at a deserted place in a nearby forest. He threw that wizard on the ground like a piece of trash. The wizard crawled on the ground, wanting to escape, but before he could utter an incantation, a sword pierced through his right leg, causing him to scream out in pain.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

Not even three seconds later, the tip of the sword pierced through the wizard's palm, pinning it to the ground. 

"S-Stop! Have mercy—-"

"If I hear you try to chant a spell to escape, I will cut off your other leg next. Do you understand?"
