Why? Why did he look at me the way he did a couple of days ago in his office? Why did he look at me like he was holding himself back from pouncing at me right there and then?

Not that I would mind but...why?

Of course, I would prefer it rather than he got angry at me, but again...why?

When I was pulling back to contemplate in my confusion, Natha climbed into the bed again and stared at me, hard. Like...I wasn't sure if he blinked at all. His gaze, of course, focused on the new addition to my appearance; the long rabbit ears. 

After looking wordlessly for a while, I heard the sound of a loud gulp. I looked up and finally realized what it was, only after realizing that I had the same reaction as him not long before.
