บท 142: I don't have a choice...

"Yin Ru, do you want to personally kill the child that you have looked after for so long?" 

Yin Ru gulped as she heard this question and for a second there, she panicked, not knowing what to do. 

"W-Why would I be proven guilty? I did nothing wrong!" Jie Fu Lian desperately tried to defend himself as he shouted. 

"Jie Ming, you are right. You did nothing wrong," Jie Yang Zan sighed as he spoke, "I am the one who was wrong." 

"Eh?" 

"I should have never brought you here. I should have never raised you like this." 

Jie Fu Lian felt his heart ache as he heard these words. He didn't know what he had done wrong and he couldn't help but feel as if he was being abandoned. 

"Jie Ming, please take this money and run away. Run away and don't let them catch you. As your father, this is the only thing I can do for you right now."
