His other arm had been torn apart and was lying on the ground near him… But that wasn't really what he was focusing on. 

He bit down on his lips as he cauterized his abdomen wound with a spell. Sweat drenched his back as he kept his eyes on the creature who attacked him. 

Standing in front of him was an unknown youth with bright red hair that reached his waist, eyes that were blazing with gold flames, and pointy red ears.
