The sun was dipping low in the sky, painting everything in warm hues of orange and pink. William, Isabella, Aimee, Panther, and John were all perched atop their Wyvern friend who was gliding through the air toward Emberfall City. Since the Wyvern wasn't sure of the way, William took on the role of navigator and kept pointing the Wyvern in the right direction.

As they settled comfortably on the Wyvern's broad back, something remarkable happened. The Wyvern cast a magic. An invisible shield formed around them. This shield blocked out the fierce winds that their high-speed flight would normally bring. Instead of battling the gusts, they only felt a soft, soothing breeze on their faces. There was no squinting against the wind or struggling to keep their seats; it was as if they were enveloped in a gentle cocoon.
