บท 54: The Lantern Festival

Roxana gasped in shock as Damian lifted her body and leaped high onto the clock tower rooftop downtown. Damian moved so fast that no human could see his movements.

The cool breeze dropped the hood on Roxana's head, making her silver hair dance in the air, carrying the scent of lavender from her hair.

Roxana hugged Damian's neck tightly and closed her eyes as they landed on a high clock tower rooftop, which was taller than a three-floor house.

"How about now, My Lady? There's no one near us," Damian said while giggling. He was amused every time he saw Roxana hugging him tightly in fear. According to him, Roxana looked like the little fox curled up in his embrace.

"I don't want to be up here!" Roxana exclaimed, "Get me down!"

Instead of going down to the ground, Damian wanted to put Roxana's body down on the rooftop. Before her feet hit the roof, Roxana wrapped her legs around Damian's waist and hugged his neck as tightly as a koala.
