Laura's POV

Arianna, she's at it again. I wanted to call back seeing fifteen damn missed calls but as I attempted to click her number. She called. 

I sighed picking it up but her loud yell made me raise the phone away from my ears for some seconds. 

She had yelled my name. "Laura!" 

"Ari. Sorry for not picking your calls, I slept in—" I said and paused, remembering I almost told her what had happened to me last night. She'd make a deal out of spending the night in Xavier's room. 

"You slept in?" She asked, calming her voice. 

"I meant I slept with my phone switched to silent mode" I lied and she sighed annoyingly. 

"What the hell happened to Mabel! News about Frederick's Industry ex-girlfriend is everywhere and what's up with ex-girlfriend??" She asked and I closed my eyes in frustration trying to process her questions.
