/ Eastern / The Clan Master Can't possibly Be A Mortal
เรื่องย่อ
"Sect Master Uncle is just a mortal, who just happens to have his own 'billion' interpretations of various spells."
Atop Misty Peak, the sect's senior disciple was educating the new beginners.
At that moment, Sect Leader Ye Feng, holding a blade of grass, waved it gently, and a fierce Sword Qi split the sky in two, revealing a dark spatial rift that was difficult to heal, frightening the gods above.
The new disciple pointed at the sky, shocked, "And you told me the Sect Leader is just a mortal?"

เขียนรีวิวReview is based on the free chapters~ because that's what I do unless I unlock and fully read the entire novel. Is this a transmigration story? Yes. MC is Ye Feng, a long lost junior brother of the previous Mist Sect's Sect Leader. He is a mortal, confirmed a mortal and people can see he's a mortal. He oozes mortal because his cultivation knowledge is pretty poor. The earlier chapters are good, but I want to highlight that MVP is the Honey Badger. All I'm saying is, I am definitely picking this one up. It's hilarious. Does it have a comedy tag? Because it should have it. Regardless of my preferences, don't forget to test the waters yourself! 25 free chapters. Plenty for a taste test.
Just another casual but enjoyable read nonetheless, the concept is nothing extremely new, sect leader who takes upon the mantle of an abandoned sect basically and eventually turns it into some kind of holy land. There have been a few similar tropes that have appeared within the story already and whilst this book isn’t extremely high quality, I would recommend it for a read if your simply bored. In conclusion it’s just another average novel building upon its predecessor’s ideas.
***Review after reading till chapter 2161*** So here’s another one. I’ve reached pretty far on this one.(On other websites obviously) I think I am just 40-50 chapters short from finishing the novel, but the final few chapters are starting to have issues where half the chapter is missing. So it gets difficult to understand to some extent. I’ll stop for a while till I can find a proper fixed chapter somewhere. But either way, it seems alright to review it at this point. 1. The MC does not have a FML. It’s good and understandable to a certain extent. MC’s reasoning is that he isn’t strong enough to focus on love and family for now, as they can get killed or take away from him—- stuff like that which can become a weakness or a drawback. It can be seen in multiple instances. For example, initially the MC was cursed by Time, so he had no lifespan and became immortal. So he was always concerned that if he fell in love and had a family, he would be immortal while everyone would die, and that’s depressing. Great. Good reasoning. But then he lost the immortality curse, but just before that, he started taking the path of “inner universe”—-to create a universe in your body. So as long as the universe isn’t destroyed, he is immortal. Here’s the thing, by this point, he can revive people from the dead. Literally. Obviously there are some restrictions, and you know how he can bypass those? By fishing people out from the River of Time. On and btw, since he has his own universe, he can imprint the life marks of others and make them have immortal bodies as well. Immortal as in completely undying. No just in terms of lifespan. Also, he later comes up with a method of space travel, where with a token and a single thought, you can return back to the inner universe, from anywhere and any Time. Yes any Time, as in Timeline. So there is no way anyone can trap him or anyone else who is bestowed by him with these methods. So at some point, all excuses are done. And it just seems to desperate in attempting to keep the FML out. Tbh, there are some great and genuine people that the MC likes. But it’s always some stupid reason and that story never develops. Ultimately, MC has grown way to strong and they are left way behind. Anyway, it’s not my story. So I just keep reading. It’s not much of a bother if there is a FML or not, just the fact that it’s avoid with weak reasons. There are quite a few problems in this novel, but when you have read 2000+ chapters, they kinda seem negligible. For those who like to focus heavily of little things, you might find it difficult to progress. But if you are okay with being able to grasp the overall meaning of any particular scene in the novel, then you will have no problem reading it till far. You will encounter the usual issue, like gender mismatch, translation error, or things like that. But hey! That’s not this novels problem, that’s all novels problem. Although I read the chapter elsewhere with passable translation, you’ll see China being mentioned quite often. But I that’s the fault in the translation and not an attempt at Nationalism and racism. This novel does not have racism and nationalism issues related to OUR WORLD. They do have their own world issues, which is basically a necessary plot/arc that all novels have. Give it a read. It’s alright.👍🏼
เปิดเผยสปอยเลอร์Completed in raws. 2200 chapters. Great story. If you start reading this, I recommend that you stick to the end. Supposedly, this novel is the 4th part of an unfinished 5 novel series. For me however, this is the author's best work yet and a good enough story on its own.
It’s decent but have major problems 1. The sect master (mc) instead of acting mysterious and unfathomable instead acts like an inexperienced teenager, he lost face so many times. 2. He treats the sect too casually, he will accept anyone as disciples even one that hid her cultivation from him with unknown motives( and this after saying he would only accept loyal disciples a few chapters back. Overall a decent read but the mc not acting strong and profund is a dealbreaker for me. Btw this all happens in the first 12 chapters so i won’t put the spoiler tag
God please pick this book!! I hate coming here and never having the books I like picked up!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
