บท 17: Kidnap

As usual Anabis will be the first person to entered April's chamber since she was assigned as her personal maid ,to prepared her highness for the journey.

But to her surprise the lady was not there and the bed seemed as if no one slept on it,Anabis deduced that she must has slept with the prince and a small smile appear on her face.She began to arrange the room.

Edward chamber

Edward was already ready for the journey.He wanted to call April but he thought that the girl was angry against him or maybe afraid of him since last night,so he decided not to disturb her for all the journey . He went to his work in another kingdom as usual.

It was already evening and Anabis wondered why she didn't saw April for all the journey,she will usually come and spend her journey with her or sit in the garden for hours but today nothing. Was she sick? Anabis thought. She decided to go and look in her room but yet still nothing,she wasn't there. Anabis was worried now, she went out of the room and asked to Gaëtan if he saw the lady since morning

''No. The last time I saw her was yesterday '' he replied .

Now Anabis was really in panicked. She decided to see if she was with Edward.

Edward was already back. He was so tired. He took his bath ,he was wiping himself with the towel and he thought went to April when someone knocked.

''Who's that?'' He asked thinking that it was his savage doe

''It's Anabis,your highness ''

He wore his trouser and white shirt that he left open without closing it.

''Enter''

She entered

'' Is there any problem ? '' He asked

''I don't know if it is a problem your highness but your highness I haven't seen her highness all the journey,I thought that may be she was sick and that she preferred to sleep in your room so I came to verified '' she said

He stood up

'' No. I haven't seen her too '' he said starting to get also worried

'' Maybe she went to see her family '' Anabis said

Edward was rotating in his room thinking

''No, I don't think. She would have ask me the permission before. She couldn't have left this morning too,the guards would have informe me. '' he said

He went out of his room and Anabis followed. Edward went to the direction of the gate because he scented the odor of April even though it was fuzzy. He stopped exactly in front of the gate.

« She went out of the gate » he thought « Since her odor is faint ,I think that she must has left last night » he thought

''Where you the ones controlling last night?'' He asked to the two guards in front of the gate ,he had a stern terrifying look

''No,your highness '' they replied in harmonie

''Where are them?'' He asked with that same expression

''It's their day to rest,your highness '' one replied

''Go and call them '' he said then he turned.

April opened her eyes gently ,she was sitting on a chair with her hand tied behind the chair and her legs tied down too. She had a plastic bag on her face.

''Ousshhh. My head,my jaw'' she said with pain

''I can see that our sleeping beauty has finally wake up'' someone said

April raised her head after hearing that voice

''Who are you? and where I am?'' She asked confused

''Who I am doesn't matter ,where you're ?... you're very far from your home '' said the person

''You will help me to obtain what I want '' the person added

''What do you want ?'' She asked

'' You will soon know,don't worry '' he said while leaving

''Answer me!!!, don't leave me like this! '' she yelled.

Escalior kingdom{Edward quarter in the living room}

The guards came ,they were in front of Edward who looked like a dangerous animal capable of exploding at any time.

'' Where were you when her highness left the castle '' he asked in a calm tune,his voice was not matching with the expression he had on his face

''Your highness,we were at our post'' one said

''And you didn't saw the lady going out " he said

The nodded no to his answer

Edward stood up and turned around them, the guards was panicking

"So you mean that she had disappeared like that. Were you not sleeping unwittingly ?" He asked

A sweat run down from the guards

"Tell me the truth,you know I can detect when people lie " he said

"Y...yes your highness,we were tired and we fell asleep " one explained

"Excuse us" They kneeled down panicking.

"Disappear before I cut off your head from your bodies" he added

And the guards rushed.

Now that Edward was sure that she left the castle last night and that still now she hasn't reappear something must have happened to her.

He went out of the castle,still scenting her odor which brought Edward to the forest,exactly where April has been kidnap

"Her odor end here" he said "she couldn't have disappear by magic, I cannot more smell her odor,it's strange." He added.

He return to the castle. He was looking for Prince Darvin and the maids told him that he was in the throne room.

Edward reaches there. Darvin was with the king talking of political things

"Good evening your majesty " he bowed then he turned to Darvin "I need some of your men" he added

Darvin was surprised not only him even the king too. Edward had never like those things of knight,army in fact anything that concerned the kingdom.

Even to trained at Bardit game he will always use Darvin's men who respect prince Edward very much. So Edward asking Darvin's men was really a surprise to them.

"What's wrong,son." Asked the king

"Ed, you don't need to Ask permission to use my men you know it,they're at your orders" Darvin said "but what's wrong?. You look like someone that want to kill everybody " he added

"April has disappeared.It looks like she was kidnap " he said with that deadly expression .

"What!!!!!" Darvin and king Solomon said
