Selina pounded on the door, begging the others to let her out. She summoned her power, but nothing. She growled, ready to hit the door again when she heard the men chanting, felt the walls of the cabinet shake, felt vibrations under her feet. What the hell are they doing? She pounded the walls of the box in which they shoved her, calling out, begging to know what was happening.
Then a bright light filled the place, exploding around her so she had to cover her eyes. Just as fast, the light vanished, leaving her in darkness. Even the little light, which pierced the cracks around the door a second ago, was extinguished. She could no longer hear the men chanting. Actually, there was no sound at all, her breathing loud in her ears. The cabinet ceased its shaking, the ground no longer vibrating under her. The air smelled damp and cold with a slight taste of sulfur. What the hell happened?
