Missing someone, for me, is like being trapped underwater - unable to breathe. My lungs burning for the air that I am in such dire need of.

But missing her, is like being trapped underwater under a completely overcast sky - trapped, unable to breath and unable to see a thing either. What an exclusively special package. However, the biggest issue is - I didn't ask for it, but I paved the way to this myself.

I have led myself to my own doom, and now I can't even complain. Just perfect.

Pain lances through me as that one picture flashes through my mind again. Amber eyes threatening to rip my soul apart and tear out from within it whatever part of her was imprinted with memories of happiness. And to think that even that happiness was nothing but pretense. A carefully designed act; a character that she pulled off with unbelievable precision.
