Asher had taken the job of dropping June off at her home. Rose felt reassured seeing them go. And Asher had some burning questions waiting to be answered.

"You don't ask me why I'm so close with Rose when I have a fiance?"

He was driving while June was sitting in the back seat, more like lying down watching short videos on her phone.

She didn't listen the first time he asked the question.

"June!"

"What?"

She sat up.

Asher cleared his throat.

"You liked my fiance, Ivy, right? Don't you want to ask about her?"

"Why would I ask about her?"

Listening to the questioning tone, he felt confused.

"Like why I'm close with Rose when I have a fiance? Doesn't that make me a scumbag? A person you should hate?"

He waited with bated breath to know her response.

"Haha. I know Ivy is Rose. You used a nice makeup artist but I know."

Okay, so she knew the real truth.

"How do you know?"
