It was the most exciting time of her life after graduating college. Sophia met the love of her life, Matt, one evening during a friend's party. After marrying Matt, all seems well.
Sophia was ecstatic to learn that her sister, Gail, was coming to visit her from Japan. Sophia was so happy to share her pregnancy news with Gail after her parents and friends knew about it.
All was well until one phone call changed their lives. Matt disappeared.
Devastated and desperate at the same time, Sophia asked Gail for help. Gail was a police officer in Japan. After several days of searching and locating, they found one evidence.
This evidence leads them to the most popular forest in Japan, Aokigahara Forest as known as the sea of trees where many people commit suicide.
Did Matt commit suicide? Why did he suddenly disappear leaving Sophia behind?
As they dig deeper, secrets get darker. Will Matt be able to come back and meet his son and return to his family?
