บท 14: Chapter 14
Jack woke up the next day and went to his father's room after having a bath and cleaning himself.
He was curious about what his father want to talk with him.
Even after this long time, he and his father talked very less.
It wasn't like they didn't like eachother but they both are very bad in having a conversation.
Jack came in front of his office and knocked.
'Knock...knock '
"Come in."
After waiting for a minute, he got the permission to enter.
He went inside and as usual his father is doing some paperwork.
"Good Morning, Father. And why are you always doing paperwork."Jack asked.
John snorted and said " You think I want to do all this, just wait some years then I will give this position to you and then we will see how you don't do all this."
"I don't want your position." Jack said quickly.
"Then what do you want." John asked seriously this time.
"I want to travel the whole world, become the strongest person alive and also meet the other strong people." Jack answered while thinking.
Hearing his son's answer, John nodded to himself as he also wanted his son to become powerful and free.
And in this world to have freedom, you need strength.
"Good answer Jack, and I want to talk to you about something." John said.
"What is it, father." Jack asked after he came out of his thoughts.
"I want to ask you that in which academy do you want to go, Meteor Academy or Blood Academy." John replied.
"And also don't worry about anything, me and your grandfather has already talked about this."
Jack started to think which should be better for him.
After sometime, he realised that he can do Bloodline ability training himself because it only needed his own practice and ability. As for usage of the Meteorite energy he can learn it in the Meteor Academy.
The Meteor Academy will also teach him about how to use his ability, which he doesn't know.
And basically Meteorite energy fascinated him much more than Bloodline ability.
"Father I want to go to the Meteor Academy." Jack replied.
John nodded at his words.
" That's what I had thought, but to enter the Meteor Academy you will need very much money."
"We and the elders have agreed that whoever does better against the Kyle Family two months from now, will have the chance of entering the Meteor Academy."
"But if you do bad then the family will only pay 20% of the fee for you, so practice very hard for these two months."
Hearing his father's words Jack nodded and said.
"Father, I will not let down you."
John smiled towards his son.
"I know Jack, now go and train."
Jack bowed towards his father then left the room.
Jack then went to his mother.
But before he can knock on the door she came outside.
"Good Morning, mom."
Alice looked at her son and pinched his cheeks.
" Jack, it seems you have forgotten about your mother after becoming a warrior."
Jack felt pain in his cheeks but didn't resist it because he knew that if he resisted then he will have to face something much worse than it.
"Sorry mom, I was busy in training." Jack said and then took out a small box.
"Mom, I have brought you a gift yesterday when I had gone outside." He said as he gave the gift to his mother.
Alice felt very warm in her heart, then she opened her gift and saw a small pair of beautiful earrings inside.
She took it out and quickly put it on her ear after taking out her previous ones.
" Jackie, it is beautiful." She said and then kissed his cheeks.
Jack felt embarrassed and quickly left after paying his respects.
He entered his room then sat in a lotus position and started to practice.
His practicing speed is very fast and if he isn't wrong then he will become a Rank 2 Warrior very soon.
He guided the energy through the surroundings to his chest core.
He had tried many times these days to find out about his third ability in his core but couldn't find how he got it.
Jack then practiced for some hours.
After practicing, he stood up and goes in his training ground and started to practice his swordsmanship and marksmanship with a Bow.
He is already proficient in many weapons like a master but still couldn't stop training.
After he knew that he has to do very good against the Kyle family for enrolling in the Meteor Academy, he has became more serious about his training.
He practiced his two handed swordsmanship as he was taught by his father.
After practicing he picked up his bow and arrow, and started to shoot moving targets, like a leaf or an insect.
While practicing archery, he becomes more calm and collected then when using any other weapons.
But he still knew that to become the strongest he has to also have proficiency in other weapons, that's why he practiced using sword, spear, staff, knife and daggers.
Practicing knife and daggers also improved his archery because it made his hands work more efficiently and also increased his fingers strength.
After doing his training, he went to read some books in the library.
While reading the books, Jack decided that to become strong he has to face tough situations so he will ask his father to give him permission to go to hunt in the forests.
The rest of day was as usual in the Von Territory but somewhere in the Royal City, dark things are being done.
