The Finriai Beach didn't change at all even though Irene had left the country for many years.
Irene and Sebastian strolled hand-in-hand along Finriai Beach, the golden sand felt warm as the sea breeze playfully touched Irene's hair.
The beach was alive with families playing in the water and children building sand castles.
"This is nice." Irene took a deep breath, smelling the scent of the ocean. "The beach reminds me of my university days."
She used to spend her days off at the beach, looking at the ocean and trying to eat every local food there.
Irene pulled Sebastian's hand. "You also have to try their food."
The small food stalls lined the beach, their colorful umbrellas fluttering in the wind, each of the owners offering their food.
Irene's eyes lit up as they passed by, her gaze drawn to the sizzling skewers of grilled seafood, the rich aroma of tropical fruits, and the sound of fresh coconut being cracked open.
