บท 174: Unmasked

The previously beautiful day has given way to a gloomy night. The sky above was filled with the darkest cloud as the sky became heavy with water.

The initially warm weather was no longer present. In its place was an angry cold monster. The moon hid away in fear.

There were no traces of the stars either. They too were shrouded in the darkness. Soon, the rain began to pelt heavily on the ground.

The intensity was too strong such that trees began to sway along with the falling rain. Occasionally, the booming sound of thunder could be heard, accompanied by flashes of lightning.

Such was the weather. Back at the mansion, a certain lady shook to the boots. Each time the sound of thunder echoed around the place, her body visibly shuddered.

She was so out of it that she failed to notice the people around her. Zira tried to stop her hands from shaking as she cleaned the dishes in the kitchen.
