บท 489: The Final Battle

War was never easy. By the end of it, both parties lose a part of themselves that would otherwise be safe. The innocence is tainted and many orphans are left behind. 

The scent of blood would linger everywhere for days and months. Even long after it's dissipated, the memories remain haunting the survivors. 

It was no different for the supernatural realm. Sound of swords clashing filled the air. Lightning and thunder lit the sky and boomed in the air. 

Red-rimmed orbs stared menacingly, glaring at each other with the promise of death. Every hand that rose brought down a head that went rolling like a ball. 

The view was unsightly and extremely disturbing but neither side could stop. This day was destined to end the era of tyranny. 

Several lives would be lost. The land would be drenched in blood and the skies would cry for innocent souls. All these were expected to happen.
