บท 17: Chapter seventh

Sophia chuckled lightly as she watched her favorite show. Although it was late at night, Sophia couldn't get any sleep because she was scared of sleeping.

Sophia had been having lots of nightmares, and it had made her scared of closing her eyes. However, trying to stay awake seemed futile.

Her eyelids felt heavy, and she soon started dosing off. However, each time she dozed off, she always snapped back awake, but it was still futile. Even the TV show she was watching wasn't helping.

Sophia dozed off once again, and when she snapped back awake, she saw Alex standing there in the room. Alex looked tired and sleepy, but the sound of Sophia's TV was disturbing his sleep.

"Sophia... It's twelve, why aren't you asleep yet? Is the show that interesting?" Alex asked, rubbing his eyes.

Sophia sighed. "I can't sleep." She said.

Alex raised an eyebrow. "Why? Is it the mattress? Whatever it is, just tell me, and I'll see how I can help." He said.
