The attack had been so sudden that there was barely any time to react, one moment they were silently sitting and the next moment, the doors were getting kicked in and Demon Hunters with their weapons drawn charged at them.

Velia reacted faster of the two, drawing out his sword to deflect the spear thrown at Cirion who was still in the middle of processing the scene.

"What's happeni-" His words were cut off by Velia dragging him to his feet by his clothes and pushing him towards a side door.

Getting trapped in the throne room would spell their demise, and their positions were already looking pretty bleak. Demon Hunters were the cream of the crop, there was no chance of them defeating the group that had come charging at them.
