The moment Reqiel was safely brought to the castle, King Rinon arranged for him to be placed in one of the rooms in his wing of the castle, a grim look on his face as he studied his unconscious child.

"It's less of a worry for you if he dies," Velia said flippantly, lounging on a chair while his father stood hunched over by Reqiel's bed.

Rinon shot him an evil eye, "Leave, you never have anything worthwhile to say." He snarked in an uncharacteristic manner.

"He'll never be Kaena." His first son's quiet voice floated over.

Rinon already threw his sword at Velia's head before he could stop himself, "Don't call your mother by her name, have you no respect?"
