A report was sent to the Royal Mount the moment Reqiel arrived and he immediately set out in the company of Velia and the Royal Physician. They were immediately ushered into a gate house, the Chief of Guard placing the injured third Prince under his care.

Velia had taken a glance at Reqiel's pale face and deserted the room, leaving Cirion and Physician Erlan.

The frail physician had a grim expression on his face and Cirion didn't need him to spell out the fact that Reqiel's life was in grave danger. "Can you treat him?" He asked solemnly.

"I can certainly try my best," He said truthfully, "If His Grace would permit me to work in privacy."
