I spent at least half an hour wandering where to start until I just decided to ask my intervoice, "Got any ideas? I can't even get a spark now." I said very exaustingly.
"You are probably drained of energy, try practicing more tomorrow night."
"Ok, you ain't going to annoy me while I am sleeping, are you."
"No, when you start sleeping, I start sleeping too, so I won't be able to do that."
Now I had to find a place to sleep. There was no way I was going to be able to fall asleep on the cold, rocky floor with no covering.
"Covering" The word gave me an idea. I went over to the dead grizzly bear the I dragged over in the corner. The bear bloody spot where I killed was being infested with bugs.
I then pulled out my swords. I was going to skin the bear and use the bear fur as a blanket. This reminded him that he forgot to get the meat out of the bear, as for he could get more extra food.
"If I skin the bear for the fur to make a blanket," I thought to myself, "I would have to get the meat to and cook it."
I felt very awake, so I started doing the procedure.
As I started to cut the skin off, I started noticing dents in the blades of my swords. I was going to have to find a way to get new ones soon.
Before I new it, the skin was off. I set the skin on the skewer so the blood would come off so it would be usable as a blanket for tonight.
I now began on getting the meat out. The meat was very hard to pull and cut out this time, but I eventually was left with just the carcass, which I threw outside away from the cave.
It was now very dark outside, there were wolves howling everywhere, but there were also strange noises of other things. One of them did not sound like an animal. In fact, I could almost make out words of some sort, like "cabin" and "sword". I no longer felt alone, for now I felt like someone would see me and try to kill me. I have only been here for about a day, who knows how long other people has been here for.
I felt tired, but I also felt very scared of someone spotting me. To get it off my mind, I started planning on what I would do tomorrow.
"I will build a closed-in-wall with a door. So I could have more privacy and so nothing could walk in and eat me," I said out loud, "And I would smear it in mud and leaves so no one would see me.
As I thought many things through, my eyes started to get heavy and I fell asleep.
It was a bright and sunny morning the next day. The wolves howling was now replaced by loudly chirping birds that happily flew around the trees. I felt energized and ready to begin the day.
The first thing I started doing after I ate some meat was looking around for strong branches about a meter long. I crossed a lot a branches that were long enough, but they were just to weak. If I was going to find a good sturdy branch that was long enough for what I wanted, I was going to have to go higher.
I now started looking for a tree to climb. Many trees were way to hard to climb because they didn't start branching out until about 5 meters above ground, but finally I found a tree I was able to climb.
The tree I found branched off into two large branches, it is possible I could shimmy up with my arms and legs, so that is what I did.
It got harder and harder to shimmy up the branches since they stretched out farther and farther, I shimmied up to the highest point and jumped to the branch to my left. There was the perfect branch for me here and all I to do was cut it off now.
I carefully pulled out one of my swords and started sawing the branch off. I about slipped and fell once when the branch my boot was hanging on to (I was given boots after I was brought to the forest) broke off, but I quickly got on a different peice and continued sawing until finally the branch fell. I then put my sword away and shimmied back down.
I then picked up small sturdy branch, and I started banging it on the side of the tip of the long branch I sawed off. I was now left with a big hole that went through the whole top side of the branch.
I then headed back to the cave, I found a rock that fit the hole, and I stuck it in the hole. I then found some vines and sawed off the some peices and used them to strap the rock inside the hole.
After about an hour, I have crafted an axe. I could now chop down wood faster and would no longer have to use my sword. I could also use it for skinning animals.
I then used the axe to chop down many peices of log. I then carried the logs to the cave, and started making a pile.
I started realizing that I am very thirsty. I haven't drank anything since I have been here. I cautiously looked for some water, and I came across a spring. The water was fresh and was easily tellable that the water was safe to drink, so I took a big golp and got back to work.
I then started gathering more vines, which was very easy since most of them were in the same area, and everytime I would take all of them, they would just grow back in the next hour, which was awkward, but I didn't mind and just used the advantage for myself.
I now started building the wall that I planned out to do last night. I woulf put a log face up on the cave, except for the middle. I then strapped the logs together. This took a very long time as for the sun was already directly up in the sky, and making its way back down to the west.
I stopped and took a break to regain some energy by eating some more meat. The cave was now way darker than before since the logs were blocking light from coming in, I would soon, when I get done with the build, would have to rely on the fire to see. Which would be easy since my main skill is fire.
I then went down to the spring to get a drink, and went back to work.
I then cut a log in two, and placed the two logs horizontily over the top gap of the cave entrance, now all was left was the door in the middle, which would take the longest to build.
I left a log longer than the others so I could use it as a hinge. I dug a small hole in the ground where I wanted to put the door at and then put the long log in it. I then brought another log and attached the two logs together with vines.
I then tested the door, it almost fell apart, but luckily I stopped it. After many tests, I finally found the solution which was to add a very tiny branch on the top to fill in a gap.
Once I covered the place with dirt and leaves. It was almost hard to notice there was even a door. Proud of myself, I celebrated with some more meat and some water from the spring.
It was now dark. He was fully energized and started practicing his skill.
"I hope I get somewhere today with my skill." I said to my intervoice.
"If you try your hardest, there is no doubt you will learn something new. My intervoice told me.
I start by trying to concentrate energy to my hands. Once my hands turned red. I pushed the energy outward, but instead of the fire just blasting out of my hands, it just floated there.
When I noticed it, I instinctively threw at the stone wall, the wall.
The hit at the wall sender rocks flying. I was so excited that I did something other than make a spark.
"That is some firepower you got there " My intervoice said impressed.
"That was so cool! If I meet someone and I have to fight him, this will be my secret weapon to take him down." I said proudly
"Try doing that again."
I again concentrated as much energy I could in my hands and again, made a fireball and sent a devastating blast at the wall.
"Maybe I shouldn't do it in here next time," I said exaustingly. "I don't want to destroy my shelter."
"Good idea. Those fireballs seem to have made you tired, get sone rest."
"Ok, goodnight."
"Goodnight."
