บท 16: The Ministers

Inside the throne room, sat the King looking down upon his council members. To his right was his Beta, Rowan. On his left, stood the Charlie, Elias.

Atlas had called for the meeting to make an announcement. However, he didn't take the formality out of it.

The aura around the room was chilly. Unlike when he was around Natalia, the King was all business around the rest of the people. He was a ruthless man who had no trouble upholding his reputation.

The ministers reported the various happenings within the nation. Each had a different department under its management.

Albeit their greed to covet, Atlas's firm grip on them was enough to keep them in line. They feared him as well as respected him.

Most of the ministers wished to get acquainted with the King on a personal level. What better way than to give away their daughters in marriage!

They were hopeful about it since the King had one spot left for his final concubine. Some were eager to bring up the topic on this day.
