บท 544: THE CHAOTIC MORNING

"Is it wrong for me to think like that?" Iris asked him, staring at her mate. She was afraid he would see her differently, yet Cane didn't seem to be bothered by her revelation at all as he caressed her head lovingly.

"I too used to wish for a few horrendous things to happen to my enemies, Iris. Do you think it's wrong for me to think of hurting people who have hurt me?" Cane asked her back, knowing what was in her mind. Iris had always been the one to talk about her feelings and what was on her mind and she set an example for Cane that it was alright to be vulnerable with each other.

"No…" Iris replied after some contemplation.
