However, for someone like Iris, it was so hard to refuse him, because he was not aggressive and somewhat nice to her, as he smiled gently, while holding the door for the carriage open, waiting for her to get inside first.

"Don't tell me that you are afraid to share a carriage with me?" Lou asked Iris when he saw how reluctant she was, while her little maid huffed behind her, disliking him extremely, yet he couldn't care less about Hanna. "Don't worry, I will not bite," he said casually, winking at her neck, where the shifters usually marked their mate.
