He remembered the way its muscle contract and relax. He remembered the feeling of its beating. He remembered the pumping of the blood and the flow after it. He remembered the sound and the harmony within it with the rest of her body.

The process became quicker. The tissues and fibers of the heart muscle the man created became more complex. Finally, it intertwined within itself, allowing blood to pass through and creating functional chambers to pump them to the rest of his body.

He created a perfectly matched heart for himself, using hers as the image. He made it.
