The rogues soon surrounded Rowland and Della. Their stench was so purgent that even Della was scrunching his face. They looked like rogues that had been out for decades. They had never been doing any good deeds and that's why the moon goddess hasn't given them a second chance.
At least, that's what the neighbouring packs believed in. They believe if a rogue does good deeds, the moon goddess might be gracious towards him or her and remove the stench.
When the rogues saw that their smell was gradually having an effect on them, three of the rogues made a kill circle around Rowland while some of them tried to box Della off.
Seeing the formation around them, Rowland and Della both gave each other a look and their determination was a raw force in the room.
These men were determined to kill both of Rowland and they don't mind if others are killed as well. It was obvious that they would rather die trying.
