บท 570: Back where they belong (1)

After talking to Stephanie, Damon and Talia made their way around the packhouse so that Talia can sneak inside with the help of the rope that Maya left behind.

Maya vacated that room a while ago, and Caden went to meet up with her, so it was up to Talia to sell the whole I-slept-in story to her guards.

Damon watched as Talia used the rope to pull herself up to the window on the second floor. Damon was impressed, she did it with ease and she barely used her legs.

Talia hopped into Maya's and Caden's bedroom and was about the pull the rope back inside when she realized that the thing was wiggling. She looked down to see Damon climbing.

"Why are you here?", Talia asked when Damon's head peeked through the window.

"I'm not leaving you out of my sight, kitten.", Damon said matter-of-factly while making his way into the room.

Talia looked at him helplessly, but she couldn't push him out.
