บท 205: The Last Banquet

The banquet that night was of course far bigger and grander than the last banquet Zina had attended. This one had the most distinguished guests from all the Five Regions, each of them more powerful than the next.

Zina hadn't bothered to look herself over in the mirror more than once. Tonight, she was more concerned about a certain woman than her appearance. The only thing she insured to do was take a huge dose of the medicine that Sybril had meticulously prepared for her.

She had been taking the same medicine ever since she took the step to get rid of her vows, and fortunately for her, the medicine was known to dissolve the Heat effect for at least the two days that were not the day when the moon would be at its peak.

She entered the bigger banquet hall, her eyes flitting through the guests in search of the Alpha of the Matriarchy Pack. She was able to spot the Pack members themselves, but the woman was no where to be found.
