บท 55: The Power Of Infinity 2
Infinity is a hard concept to comprehend. but to make it simple, let's look at a universe, that universe would be infinite. It holds infinite weight, space, and so on. it's ever-growing. but to cultivators who had reached a high enough level, that universe isn't infinite to them. those that make that universe not infinite?
No, there were levels to infinity. some were smaller than others, and others were greater than others. the aleph numbers are a sequence of numbers used to represent the cardinality of infinite sets or the size of infinitely.
this means, numbers like 9 trillion to 999 trillion power and so on. such huge numbers all fall into. It all falls into Aleph Number, or the Label for it N0. but you can go past things. These are called Omega Numbers. you cross infinity you could run into numbers like W+1, W+2, and so on. these weird numbers are pretty much saying Infinity+1, Infinity+2, and so on.
It's hard to understand, but let's say you draw an infinity line that fills up an infinity paper. but you get another piece of paper and draw another line. how many lines are there? it's still an infinite number of lines, right? wrong.
that would be W+1. Omega, or W, is the next label you would need after using up the infinity number of countable numbers. it could go on to W+2, W+3 and so on. but this was not truly infinity, it was just the number that came after infinity.
Let's say you were an infinity graph. on the y-axis, the numbers were listed by ones, and on the x-axis you did the same that went on for infinity. if you were to go through the graph, placing a circle on every even number and X on every Odd number, you would find yourself with 1 infinity X and 1 Infinity circle.
but you could go further, giving the even number X and every Odd number a circle. every number counted by 3s gets an X while the rest get circles, and this could go on. this would give you a number bigger than N0.
remember W+! isn't bigger than infinity, it just comes after infinity. let's say you have every countable number, such as 1, 2, 3, to N0. Are you not able to put W+ before all of those numbers? this would be called W times W. We could keep doing such things, and soon we would have W to the W to the W to W and so on until we ran out of the standard mathematic notation. No problem, we can use epsilon not or E0
Now think of all the ways we could arrange N0 things in this case we would have W1. not W+1, but W1 and at the same time N1. but can we go past this and reach another higher scale?
we can do E0, E1, and so on as much as we can, but that number would always be able to fall below N1 or just above it. this greater and higher scale is called inaccessible cardinal. this means that the number below it could never be used to reach such a number... but the same thing could be said for N0. you can't reach this number from below either
All numbers less than N0 are finite, and no matter what you do with finite numbers you could never be able to reach N0. All it would do would give you another finite number, and not even close to N0, the lowest level of infinity.
So, how could anyone even reach infinity? the very answer to this was that infinity was just a concept, an idea that could exist or might never truly exist. is the universe truly infinite or finite? to a world god, it was finite, to a mortal it was boundless.
what I'm saying is that infinity depends highly on the person looking at it. there was no such thing as an endless amount of energy, it simply was that you were not capable of using such a huge quantity of energy to see it have any form of drop.
So, how did all of this relate to Ling Han? Simple with his Dao breakthrough to level 5 of the Dao birth stage, he had a higher understanding of what infinity was. He now understood that infinity all depends on the person looking at it. now, instead of the wall of infinity truly being limited to how he used to see infinity to be, the wall of infinity would be infinite to him.
what did this mean? like how a mortal would see infinity, Ling Han would see the wall of infinity as infinite. this meant that 1 wall of infinity was infinite in Ling Han eyes, or N0 in Ling Han eyes. if the first wall of infinity is broken through, then the second wall of infinity shall transform into N1, and if it's broken through, the 3rd wall of infinity shall evolve to N2, and so on and so on.
again this is all in Ling Han's eyes, this meant that to others who were capable enough, this wall of infinite would be nothing. but for someone to be able to do such a thing, that would make them a peak World God... no, they had to be higher on that scale.
now, with Ling Han's ability to use Infinity to increase his attacks, it was pretty much doing his attack plus N0. again, that was all dependent on Ling Han's concept of Infinity, what was N0 to the current Ling Han. yes, it took time to charge, but once fully charged Ling Han couldn't be able to control something so overwhelming, but once he launched it out, the power behind such an attack would be deadly. it could destroy him without a chance of resistance infinitely amount of times over if not for the wall of Infinity
the same was true for the power to reduce infinite, he was pretty subtracting N0 from something, which meant something greater than his current foresight of infinity would be able to hit him.
Infinite Step? it just increased his speed to stupid levels, this was mostly a travel technique, not a movement technique that could be used in battle. this pretty much allowed Ling Han to reverse his idea of N10.
So... with all of this said and done, how capable was the current Ling Han? That was hard to say, as his strength and limits were bound by his idea of what N0 was. but the current him if he used his Dao and boosted his strength by N0, he should be able to fight a peak world god. Of course, the longer he boosts his strength, the more energy he will burn through
He had more than perfect energy control at this moment, able to bring out more than 100%, this meant that in Ling Han's eyes, just a drop of his energy might as well be infinite. so he would never run out of energy even when he does something so extreme
"Be gone." Ling Han said softly, the storm clouds which had swallowed all of the Flaming Demon realmverse instantly disappeared, the world instantly turning peace. a being with the power to rival a world god was born... no, a being who should be above a world god was born.
Ling Han floating in the Sky, an infinite number of thoughts flowing through his mind. he understood better than anyone how long it would have taken for his Dao to reach level 5. forget a hundreds of chaos cycle, it was more like in the trillions of chaos cycle and even that might be enough for level 2,
His dao was overpowered, its limits were only limited to his very infinity, what was infinity? he would always see a higher infinite every day, he could stop cultivating right now and every day he would be far stronger than in the past.
Sighing Softly, I floated down. using the power to bring out a negative infinity, I could effect time, having it flow backward, which I need, and had the room with the thinking chair back to the state before I returned. , I reached forward, breaking down everything, and turning it into a helmet.
"This is infinitely better than your creations. even a normal human can use this without their brain just dying from the overlord of information." I said calmly while throwing the helmet to Lex, who quickly caught it with a look of shock. the higher the quality of something was, the harder it was to affect its spacetime. me reversing time of this whole room was shocking not everyone there, even Ji Ning.
"My disciple, you should have all your loved ones return, and for your primal twin to shatter its Dao's heart," I said calmly, snapping Ji Ning out of his shock. Ji Ning nodded slightly, at this moment he understood better than everyone else just how overwhelming my power was,
"you know where to find me," I said calmly before disappearing, appearing before Lue Qing who was in the middle of closed-door cultivation. Looking at my wife for some time, I waved my hands, atoms gathering to form a helmet that formed on her head. in an instant, Lue Qing's mind was filled with an infinite number of thoughts, with her mind also entering an enlightened state.
"This will be fun," I said with a smirk as I went on to evolve her physique, having it evolve to her ideal form. again, she created the evaluation for herself. I was pretty much giving her the chance to write her fate. I went on to do the same for everyone else, Lue Yin, Shi Long, Cai Lin, Nalan Yanran, and Gu Xun Er.
"Amaya, you and your sisters can all join Nux... by the way, you can all have a helmet. go ahead. surprise me." I said with a smile while giving Nux and his wives all helmets, they were confused for a moment, but after putting the helmet on, they were shocked. they quickly thanked me before they ran off.
"Han Jue, I see you're trying to act as loyal as you could while using up all my resources to try and one day defeat me," I said with a smirk while popping up before Han Jue. Han Jue who was cultivating looked at my blindfold, not having anything to say.
Back then when he cursed me, he had no choice. I was someone outside even the system's understanding, and I was someone who rivaled even him in talent. What was he supposed to do? let such a person run around and risk his future dream? it was to either capture that person, force them to join his sect or kill them. sadly, he had no way to get to the lower realm, and even if he could, he was no match for me in the same cultivation realm.
In the novel Han Jue was from, the system would have soon given him a way to brainwash others, but he didn't have that at the current moment. so he cursed me, indeed he was not planning on cursing me to death, just enough to slow my future down. but it backfired heavily.

"So dance for me. under my wing, you need not worry about anything. dance around like a clown, try and defeat me. and one day, when you realize you stand before the almighty... don't break down, you have some potential as a follower. so long as we remove that cowardly nature of yours." I said while allowing his system to scan me, and with that I left, leaving Han Jue's face dark...
"was that you?" within a homeless shelter, Han Bei could be seen feeding homeless mortals while helping them all set on the path of cultivation to change their path, when I popped up behind her, none of the mortals were able to even see me. the wall of Infintie wasn't up at all times, at least in my eyes. in other eyes, such as these mortals, I was infinite far. they could never hope of ever seeing my shadow
"Yes... you are not bored going around rolling in these parts. you could be enjoying life." I said calmly while looking at the poor mortals. it was below me to even look down upon the mortals, in my eyes, they were no different from other cultivators. but that didn't mean I would disdain to speak with them, I just did what I felt like doing.
"with great power comes great responsibility. With all that power you hold at your fingertip, it would not affect you even in the slightest if you planned to help the world. why not use that power to transform this world into a heaven on earth?" She said calmly, confusing the mortals as they didn't know who she was speaking to. Han Bei stopped feeding them and turned to look at me.
"it would be funny if even you enjoy the feeling of being above others... isn't that such a thing those you look down upon like to experience? but you're not like that, you just don't care to help." She said softly, making me smile slightly.
"Indeed, why do boring stuff when you could live a relaxed life? I was thinking of going to get my nails done, and eyebrows done, as well as get a haircut. My hair is a bit long... you want to join me?" I asked with a smile, to which Han Bei just blankly looked at me.
"do this with me for a week... and I will do anything with you." She said after sighing softly, I looked at her for a moment before shrugging. she knew me while a simple week was nothing. so of course I would agree, why do things on your own when you can do it with someone else?
