บท 43: Chapter 44: I Don't Eat Unripe Fruit Like You

Lugard smiled wickedly, licking his lips, his handsome, cold face turned seductively, and a cunning smile played on his beautiful pink lips as he walked towards Lisa on the bed.

"You want to know how I can punish you?" he asked, his voice low and husky, his eyes glinting with amusement.

Lisa saw his seductive, wicked, cunning smile and felt electrified, a chill running down her spine. She tried to sound calm, but her voice came out breathy and uncertain. "What are you trying to do, Mr. Lu?"

Lugard's smile grew wider, his eyes flashing with desire. "I'm going to show you," he said, his voice dripping with seduction. "You see, troublemaker, I've been waiting for the perfect moment to teach you a lesson. And now, I think that moment has arrived."

Lisa's eyes screamed in horror as she rushed back and covered herself with her bedsheets. "Don't dare come close to me, you pervert!" she shouted, her voice trembling with fear.

Lugard smiled murkily, grabbing Lisa's leg from under the bedsheets and pulling her towards him. Lisa trembled, panic washing over her as she tried to kick him away.

Lugard looked at the girl who had wrapped herself tightly in the bedsheets, a smile spreading across his face. He felt like teaching this troublesome little doll a lesson.

"Sorry, I'm sorry! I won't dare next time," Lisa continued pleading, her eyes closed in fear.

Lugard's grip on her leg tightened, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You should be sorry," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You should be very, very sorry for yourself."

Lisa's eyes snapped open, her gaze meeting Lugard's. She saw the wicked glint in his eye and knew she was in trouble.

Lugard unwrapped the bedsheets from her body, his hands moving swiftly and precisely. Lisa struggled, but she was no match for his strength. She tried to push him away, but he was too powerful.

"Pull up your clothes," he demanded, his voice firm and commanding.

"How dare you!" Lisa asked, trying to escape, but Lugard's grip was too tight. She felt a surge of fear as he started to pull up her dress, his hands brushing against her skin.

"Let me go!" she shouted, trying to kick him, but he was too quick. He caught her legs and held them down, his eyes flashing with anger.

"You should have thought of that before you crossed me, Lisa," he said, his voice cold and menacing.

Lisa's heart raced as she realized she was at his mercy. She tried to think of a way to escape, but Lugard's grip was too strong.

"Be quiet before I do something worse," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

Lisa stopped struggling, lying down still, her body tense with fear. She closed her eyes, biting her lips and holding onto the bed sheets tightly, waiting for Lugard to start his movement and have his way.

Besides, his husband is better than to lose herself to a total stranger, a demon beast, Lisa thought, trying to console herself.

Tears circled her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She wouldn't give Lugard the satisfaction of seeing her cry.

As she lay there, she could feel Lugard's eyes on her, his gaze burning with intensity. She knew he was waiting for her to make another move, to give him an excuse to unleash his wrath.

But Lisa remained still, her heart racing with fear, her mind racing with thoughts of am done for.

Lisa thought that Lugard was serious about sleeping with her and teaching her a lesson, so she gave up struggling, waiting for him to have his way. Instead, Lugard just pulled up her top and looked at her bruised stomach, which had turned purple in color.

"Is this what you call slight pain? Nothing more?" Lugard's voice was laced with concern and anger.

Lisa opened her eyes to find Lugard staring at her injured abdomen, his face etched with worry and anger. She felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she realized he wasn't trying to take advantage of her.

Lugard's gaze met hers, his eyes murky with emotion. "What do you think I want to do before you pervert, troublemaker?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

"I don't eat unripe fruit like you," he added, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Lisa covered her flushed face in embarrassment, glaring daggers at Lugard. "Who are you calling an unripe fruit?" she spat, trying to sound braver than she felt.

Lugard's long, slender fingers pinched her chin, and she felt electrified by his touch. "You are the unripe fruit," he said, a cunning smile playing on his handsome face.

Lisa pouted in annoyance.

"You're the one that is unripe, Mr. Lu 'I'm-so-ripe-I'm-rotting'!" Lisa retorted, trying to sound braver than she felt. Lugard's touch sent shivers down her spine, and she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest.

Lugard chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I see. You think you're witty, don't you, troublemaker?" He leaned in closer, his breath whispering against her ear. "But let me tell you, I'm not rotting. I'm just... seasoned."

Lisa's face grew hotter, and she tried to push him away, but Lugard's grip on her chin only tightened. "And as for you, unripe fruit..." He paused, his gaze roaming over her face. "You're not even ripe enough to be eaten yet."

Lisa pouted in annoyance, trying to wriggle free from his grasp. But Lugard held tight, his eyes glinting with amusement. "And I'm not going to eat you yet, because you're not ripe enough," he whispered, his breath sending shivers down her spine.

Lisa's eyes flashed with anger, but before she could respond, Lugard released her chin and stood up, towering over her. "Get some rest, Little troublemaker. You're not going anywhere for a while." the doctor will be here soon.

With that, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving Lisa feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and more than a little confused. What did Lugard want from her? And why did she feel like she was playing with fire every time they interacted?

Lisa lay down on her bed, holding her injured abdomen, and fell asleep, exhausted from the pain and the emotional rollercoaster she had been on.

As Lisa slept, the door to her room opened, and a middle-aged man with a kind face and a stethoscope around his neck walked in. He was followed by Lugard, who nodded at him before retreating to the corner of the bedside.

"Hello, Miss Lisa," the doctor said softly, his eyes scanning her face. "I'm Dr. Lee. I've been asked to check on your injuries."

Lisa stirred, still half asleep, but the doctor gently shook his head. "No, no, don't wake up. Let me just take a look."

He gently lifted her top, and his eyes widened as he took in the sight of her bruised purple stomach. "This is quite severe," he muttered, probing the area gently with his fingers.

Lugard stepped forward, his eyes narrowed. "What's the diagnosis, Doctor?"

Dr. Lee looked up, his expression serious. "She has a severe contusion, possibly from a kick or a punch. I'll need to run some tests to ensure there's no internal damage."

Lisa stirred again, but she didn't wake up, instead, she moaned in pain softly, her eyes fluttering closed again. Dr. Lee nodded, his eyes flicking to Lugard. "I'll need to keep her sedated for now. I'll prescribe some pain medication and schedule an ultrasound to check for internal damage."

Lugard nodded, his expression grim. "Do whatever it takes to help her, Doctor."

Dr. Lee nodded and began to write some notes on his clipboard. "I'll have the nurse bring in the medication and schedule the ultrasound for tomorrow morning."

As the doctor finished up and left, Lugard sat down in the armchair beside Lisa's bed, watching her sleep. His eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched, as he thought about that bastard who had hurt her. But his expression slowly relaxed, replaced by a sense of satisfaction. He had already dealt with the people responsible, and they would never harm Lisa again.

As he sat there, he couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility towards Lisa.

He had promised to save her from harm, and now he felt a need to protect her.
