Absent-mindedly, Lin FenXiang sat in the seat as Yan Hansheng got in and started the car.

Lin FenXiang stared ahead in a daze. This was probably the first time he had seen Yan Hansheng insist on something.

Yan Hansheng glanced at Lin FenXiang from the corner of his eyes. Thinking that the painter was upset because he didn't let him go by himself, he spoke slowly and in a consoling manner.

“I'd ha-ha-have let you go, go by you-yourself,” he said, eyes trained on the road as he drove through the dawn. “But yo, you looked so, so slee-sleep deprived. I was wo-worried that, that you will, will fa-fall asleep in the ta-taxi.“

“Oh,” Lin FenXiang answered faintly, feeling the tingling in his left shoulder act up once more. “I see.“ He seemed to be thinking about something.

Yan Hansheng's brows furrowed, drawing together as he looked at Lin FenXiang sideways. “Are, are you up-upset?“ He mumbled.
