บท 22: Threat and a Future Queen

That day, Emy couldn't do her work properly. How could she work effectively if Reed continually stared and smiled at her? Every time she rolled her eyes at him, she could hear him laugh.

'Damn, he had a gorgeous laugh,' Emy thought.

When Emy entered the pantry, they were on a lunch break. She didn't have any plans for lunch that day. She had a cookie in her purse and was about to order coffee when she noticed the abundance of food on the table. This is from a well-known restaurant. Emy turned to face Reed, who was standing in front of her.

"Shall we eat?" Reed asked, smiling.

"I'm not hungry," Emy said. But, in reality, she was just drooling over the aroma of the food on the table.

"Do you have no appetite or simply refuse to eat with me?" Reed asked.

"Same," Emy said.

Reed chuckled. Reed turned his back on Emy. Avery and Jasmin entered the pantry just in time. It astounded them to see how much food was on the table.
