บท 4: Encounter with Konoha

Author: I had to stay up all night and write during classes to get everything written within the week, now for goodness sake... get my family out of the basement!

———————————————————

On a Beautiful Sunrise

As the Sun began its ascent over the horizon, its radiant light streamed across the landscape, casting shadows from objects in its path. At this early hour, the kingdom stirred to life, with most of its inhabitants waking to greet the new day.

As the Sun climbed higher into the sky, illuminating the houses built with highly durable materials and the mountains that shielded the city, the citizens awoke without fear. Their trust in their queen and the power of those who protected them was absolute, allowing them to live peacefully.

In front of the kingdom's school gates, parents gathered to bid farewell to their children as they returned to classes after two days of rest. Every student received some form of affection, though the expressions varied from family to family.

For instance, Lyle's father, standing tall and composed, merely looked into his son's eyes and gave a small nod. His long, flowing black hair, slightly messy but straight, swayed gently in the breeze. His striking red eyes, marked with patterns resembling target reticles, stood out against his pale skin. He wore a sharp black suit with three white buttons, a black tie, and a crisp white dress shirt underneath. A black belt and polished black loafers completed his refined appearance.

This man was someone anyone in the scientific community would recognize immediately—he was known as the "Perfect Human", the pinnacle of what a person without a Template blessing could achieve. He was Zetsubou Kamukura, Lyle's father. Though his expression was perpetually cold and detached, as if entirely uninterested in the world, he had his own subtle ways of showing affection. He was one of the few with a rare 7-star rank and was also a Grand Archon, as evidenced by the white emblem with black details in the shape of a sun on his chest.

Five meters to the left of the Kamukura family stood the Momochi family. Haku embraced Zabuza warmly, his gentle smile never leaving his face. Zabuza, towering and stoic as always, returned the gesture with a barely perceptible smile of his own. His imposing frame, wrapped in his signature bandages, seemed like a protective shield enveloping Haku. To Haku, being near his father always brought a profound sense of warmth and safety.

Haku waved cheerfully at Zabuza as he turned and walked toward the royal academy, his steps light and carefree under his father's watchful gaze.

The gothic-clad loli, Ophis, emerged from a tear in space, kneeling on the ground with one knee down and her head bowed as she delivered her report.

"A person in a black and red cloak summoned a strange statue that absorbed the One, Two, and Three-Tails in a descending order."

As Ophis's words left her lips, Alice's previously serene expression grew darker. She now fully understood that the unease she had been feeling was not without reason.

When she noticed Ophis was about to raise her head, Alice quickly softened her expression to avoid worrying the loli. She wasn't truly afraid of the strength of this person; after all, Ophis alone was more than enough to crush any of these enemies with her overwhelming power. Despite being underestimated by many, Ophis was easily capable of destroying a large planet. Moreover, Alice had Sirius by her side, making any potential threat seem trivial.

However, what truly concerned Alice was the safety of her people. While they all possessed remarkable latent talent, the majority had chosen to live as civilians, making them easy targets for the Infinite Tsukuyomi, especially since they all had chakra within their bodies—like every living being.

Naturally, this wouldn't be an issue if Sirius reached his Hadou, allowing him to rewrite the world effortlessly. But if the Moon Eye Plan were fully executed before that, she wouldn't be able to protect her kingdom and its civilians. Perhaps technology could help, but even with the Eternal Sovereigns' unwavering loyalty, convincing them would be a challenge. Maybe Sirius and Aizen could uncover a solution; after all, if they retained even a fraction of their originals' capabilities, Sirius's original self had deceived an omniscient being, and the original Aizen possessed knowledge of noble families, the Soul King, and even the Royal Guard's key.

"I understand… Little Ophis, you are dismissed. Take a two-day rest in your rift. More Shadow Swordsmen will take over the task of gathering information."

Alice spoke slowly, tapping her fingers lightly against the armrest of her throne. She watched as Ophis curtsied slightly, raising her skirt just enough to maintain decorum without revealing anything. Ophis then opened a spatial rift and exited the hall.

A few moments later, Alice let out a heavy sigh, her pleasant breath escaping her lips as she spoke.

"Akatsuki...? Could it be that this time, they're moving faster than the original...? But something feels off. They shouldn't have recruited so many S-Rank members by now... And it was just one person performing the sealing… of the Bijū."

Alice murmured to herself as she processed the information Ophis had provided. Furthermore, the previous report about Amegakure revealed that Hanzō had been overthrown, and the Akatsuki organization had established a new order, eliminating Hanzō's remnants.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her gaze shifted to the window beside her throne. She spotted a lone figure standing before the gates of Camelot. Moments later, the guards at the kingdom's entrance contacted her, the figure's appearance displayed on a swiftly activated hologram as they began to speak.

"Venerable Queen, we didn't mean to interrupt your private time, but… there's an envoy from the Land of Fire here, and something seems off about him." He spoke with a slightly worried tone.

"Explain further," Alice replied, her tone calm yet firm, helping the guard compose himself. After two feigned coughs, he calmed down and began to elaborate.

"Well, my lady, this envoy seems rather anxious, and he also has an external chakra that appears to be—" The guard's words were abruptly cut off by an explosion. Although it couldn't be heard within the walls due to the barriers and sealing techniques, Alice, who had been seated moments ago, now stood. In a single step, she leapt through the window.

If we were to define her physical capabilities in relative terms, Alice's strength would be second only to Sirius in this world. Even Isshiki, powerful as he was, could not compare to someone like Alice, whose body far surpassed that of any Otsutsuki.

As she landed on the earth with her iron-clad boots, her eyes immediately darted toward the smoke. Moving swiftly, she rescued the guards caught in the explosion, holding both in her arms. She noted that they were conscious and had sustained only second-degree burns—nothing more. Letting out a relieved sigh, she quickly summoned the medical team, which arrived in less than a minute to take the injured guards away.

For the first time, Alice's expression turned grim. She murmured, but her whisper carried an overwhelming aura of hatred, anger, and killing intent:

"Send a Royal Inquisitor to Konoha, NOW! And make sure he takes the recorder."

As she spoke, a ripple in space formed around her. From the rift that opened before her, Aizen appeared once more, kneeling on one knee.

"As you wish. Do you have any further orders?" His piercing eyes looked up at Alice, whose expression remained dark as she clenched her fists and replied:

"Yes. Depending on Konoha's response, we will go to war. This must be made clear—I will not tolerate an attack on my people."

As she said this, a powerful omnidirectional gust of wind surged outward, with Alice at its epicenter. The air carried her killing intent, creating the phantom image of a massive crimson dragon. Calming herself, Alice turned back toward her kingdom, her back now facing Aizen, who remained kneeling, his expression unreadable.

"It will be done..." Aizen said, rising to his feet. He began walking alongside Alice, his thoughts hidden behind his sharp gaze.

'You were truly arrogant to think our lady didn't see through this,' Aizen mused, the image of a bandaged man flashing through his mind. Yes, both of them had immediately identified the mastermind behind the attack.

So why take it out on Konoha? The answer was simple: to show that even the most powerful village was not exempt from Camelot's judgment, and that no village could shield those responsible for attacking Camelot's people. It was a warning to all—any attempt to provoke Camelot would only expose arrogance and hubris. After all, the people and knights of Camelot were not arrogant. The true arrogance lay with those who believed they could stand against it.

———————————————————

"This is the greatest honor—to receive direct orders from the Queen herself, even if indirectly!" exclaimed a young man with exaggerated reverence. He had long, voluminous golden hair that reached below his shoulders, and his eyes were a light cyan blue. He wore a white coat meticulously embroidered with silver floral and arabesque patterns on the epaulets. The coat was fitted to his frame, with golden buttons running down the torso. An opening revealed layered details of vibrant red beneath, and the lower part resembled a stylized hakama with wide pleats and red accents. A deep crimson ribbon wrapped around his neck, cascading down both sides. His hands were clad in black fingerless gloves with silver metallic details, and he wore polished black boots with a classic military design. A katana hung from his left side.

He said this while standing before Aizen, one arm dramatically extended as if stars twinkled around him, but Aizen interrupted his trance.

"Alright, you're to depart for the Land of Fire at 10 a.m., but don't forget your main objective, Suurinsu-san." Aizen spoke calmly, watching the self-absorbed Suurinsu, who snapped out of his daydream and responded.

"Yeah, yeah! I know already—pressure Konoha and show Danzō that Konoha can't protect him." He replied dismissively, waving his hand as if he had no interest in hearing further instructions. Aizen furrowed his brow slightly but quickly composed himself. After all, despite his nonchalant demeanor, this young man was the newest Royal Inquisitor, known as the "Star Prince."

It was said that his power had been granted by a star that fell from the heavens long ago. And he could only be described as a fanatic when it came to Alice.

Before Aizen could continue, the "Prince" dashed off toward the gates at blinding speed, covering more than 30 kilometers in mere seconds—and this was his slowest pace. Upon reaching the gates, he waved at the substitute guards, who immediately opened them and bowed deeply. As he passed through, the gates closed behind him with a tremor, causing the ground to quake slightly and dislodge small stones.

"Now... I just need to present the evidence... the one who appeared is registered as the 3,899,374,739th person." Suurinsu glanced at a document, noting the registry number, but his thoughts were elsewhere. He was imagining how Alice-sama would praise him. 'Alright, as my first official mission as a Royal Inquisitor and a direct request from Alice-sama, I'll execute this perfectly to earn her praise.' A genuine smile of happiness curved his lips at the thought.

Then, he began to walk, his pace slow and deliberate. In that moment, he resembled a wandering swordsman. However, his aura was heavy, and even the trees and ground around him seemed to tremble under the weight of his sword intent. Within a five-kilometer radius, it was felt as a faint breeze, but within fifty meters, it resembled the eye of a hurricane, capable of cleaving anything in its path.

As he continued, the scenery changed—primarily vast stretches of trees and occasional dirt roads. Whenever he sensed the presence of people, he immediately dissipated his sword intent. After leaving Camelot's territory, his gaze turned cold—sharp and chilling, like the edge of a sublime blade.

"I'll show him what happens when someone opposes Alice-sama." He muttered, drawing his katana with lightning speed and slashing in seemingly random directions. A moment later, after the blade was sheathed, several Root ninjas fell to the ground. Their vital points—neck, arteries, and head—had been struck with unnerving precision. Yet, they hadn't been touched by the blade itself; he had used the very air as a weapon.

"Trash that dares stand in Alice-sama's way." The "Prince" approached one of the fallen ninjas still alive, stomping on his face with force, shattering the mask and driving his head into the ground, sending up a cloud of dirt and debris.

Satisfied that all were dead, the "Star Prince" shook his head in disapproval, as though he had just witnessed the foolishness of incompetents.

Letting out a heavy sigh, he resumed his journey. He could sense more ninjas further ahead, approximately 10 kilometers away. This time, they didn't seem to be hiding outright but were instead moving in a perimeter patrol, likely scouting for any intruders.

Noting this, the "Star Prince" shook his head again. To him, this method was outdated, though it wasn't necessarily a flaw. It only highlighted the perfection of his divine and impeccable queen when compared to these "vermin." At least, that was Suurinsu's unwavering belief regarding Camelot's superiority over the rest of the world.

His pace quickened slightly—not enough to be called a run, but faster than before. His current speed was modest compared to his initial sprint, about 20% faster than a regular walk.

———————————————————

A few hours passed as a man, who could be considered tall by the standards of this world, stood at 1.79 meters in height. He had fair skin, spiky blonde hair with bangs framing each side of his face, and bright blue eyes. His attire consisted of Konoha's standard uniform, complete with two stripes on each sleeve and a green flak jacket. Over his regular outfit, he wore a long white cloak with short sleeves, decorated with red flames along its hem. On the back of the cloak, the words "Fourth Hokage" were written. He also wore blue sandals. This was none other than the renowned "Yellow Flash," Minato Namikaze.

The Fourth Hokage was immersed in his paperwork, a stack equivalent to at least 30 centimeters of pure documents—a small mountain of bureaucracy for the 4th Hokage.

He scratched his head, for even with assistance from clones, it still took time. He couldn't simply sign without reading; most of the documents were lengthy, which slowed the process considerably. It wasn't just a matter of signing—he had to read every word meticulously.

This was what Minato was doing until his thoughts and focus were interrupted by a jonin ninja who opened the office door. The ninja approached and said, "Hokage-sama, an envoy from 'Camelot' has come to see you." He emphasized the name "Camelot," as it was merely a rumor and had never been confirmed.

Hearing this, Minato requested that the envoy be brought in. It took less than a minute. Minato immediately tensed up, as something about this individual seemed to operate on a completely different level, causing the hairs on his body to stand on end. A faint gust of wind entered through the open door as the earlier guard escorted in the "Stellar Prince." The aura this person exuded made Minato uneasy.

When the guard finally left, and before Minato could speak amicably to inquire about the reason for his visit, Suurinsu immediately placed several documents on Minato's desk and stated, "Our queen demands compensation for a terrorist act committed by your village, as well as reparations for the families of the victims."

Hearing this, Minato initially felt anger at the accusation but quickly composed himself and began reading each document. He also noticed a strange device. "What is this for?" Minato asked genuinely while examining the device.

The "Prince" replied, "It's a recorder. Simply press this red button." He let out a faint sigh at the end, as though explaining something to a child.

When Minato did as instructed, the recording displayed the events that had transpired in Camelot. Watching the footage, combined with the documents, left no doubt that Konoha was responsible. However, Minato quickly deduced who could be behind this...

"Danzo…" Minato muttered angrily. His fists clenched so tightly under the desk that they turned white. After all, Danzo had once proposed turning his daughter into a weapon. That day, Danzo had nearly met his end at Minato's hands if not for Hiruzen and the other elders intervening. Faced with overwhelming evidence, Minato could only lower his head and comply with the young golden-haired man's demands. "Very well. As Hokage, I will apologize for this and provide compensation to the victims' families…" Though he didn't want to lower his head, the situation left him no choice.

"Alright, I will report this to our queen." Minato was surprised upon hearing Suurinsu's words, as he hadn't used the honorific "-sama." This suggested either that Suurinsu held a high rank himself or that Camelot's governmental structure was different. Minato deduced it was likely the latter.

Suurinsu smiled faintly upon seeing Minato agree and said, "I will report everything to the queen." He bowed slightly, but his tone carried a hint of disdain. Taking the device and documents but leaving a copy with Minato, Suurinsu exited the Hokage's office. Once the door closed, Minato let out a long sigh. He rubbed his temples, and for the first time, a murderous look appeared in his eyes as Danzo's image came to mind.

As Minato pondered what to do about Danzo, the door to his office was suddenly pushed open again—this time more forcefully, as if someone was trying to shove it. There stood a short girl with fair skin and the distinctive red hair of the Uzumaki clan. She wore a pink jacket with white accents and had an excited smile on her face. "Dad, when are you going to train us in using the Hiraishin?" she asked enthusiastically, not noticing her father's expression, which quickly softened.

Minato glanced back at his desk and noticed a letter he hadn't read yet. As he picked it up to read, nothing seemed to change externally, but internally, he was already planning how he would kill Danzo. The letter contained more evidence against Danzo for other misdeeds.

"Akeno, only after you learn the sealing techniques your mother is teaching you," Minato said with a soft laugh. His daughter pouted and began to grumble, something her father found endearing.

[Some time after that event]

The sun had already dipped below the horizon, and the "Prince" stood atop a pile of corpses. They were all Root ninjas, as could be confirmed by the distinctive marks visible on the open mouth of one of the lifeless bodies. Their arteries, tendons—everything had been severed. He sighed in mild disgust, as though he had stepped on a foul-smelling pile of ants.

"Ugh… you're revolting. I hope this serves as a warning to that old man. He craves to disappear into obscurity, yet covets power and thought Alice-sama would send a weak envoy?" Suurinsu mocked Danzō's warped reasoning. He sheathed his katana, its blade as sharp as ever. In fact, it almost seemed as though the more it cut, the sharper it became—but perhaps that was just an illusion.

Stretching, Suurinsu straightened his back, his muscles tensing before relaxing again. His physique could only be described as "perfect" by the standards of the ninja world. He was a true genius, the kind of prodigy born once every eon. No, perhaps even rarer. But without a definitive way to measure potential, it was impossible to say for sure. Nonetheless, he certainly stood at a level akin to 7 stars, at the absolute peak, second only to Zatsubou.

Before he could leave the mountain of corpses, a shadow emerged—a figure that Suurinsu immediately recognized as one of the Shadow Fencers. Cloaked in darkness itself, the figure's deep, gravelly voice carried respect as it spoke. "Suurinsu-san, you are to act as an envoy and travel to Amegakure. She wishes to assess the leader there based on his responses." The figure knelt on one knee, head bowed low, as the wind stirred its dark, discreet garments, making them flutter in the breeze.

Hearing this, Suurinsu let out an involuntary cry of joy, his eyes instinctively darting toward the direction where Amegakure lay. "Alice-sama has given me an order…" He clutched his chest as if on the verge of a heart attack at the mere thought of bringing good news to his queen. His posture quickly became firm again; after all, he now had a new mission. His stance was flawless, so perfect it seemed almost inhuman.

The air around him rippled along with the grass as he took his first step, then another… and soon he vanished from the Shadow Fencer's sight and perception entirely. The Shadow Fencer let out a long sigh, only then realizing he had been holding his breath. The sheer, nearly incomprehensible density of chakra that Suurinsu unconsciously released when he no longer restrained himself was so heavy and overwhelming that it made the seasoned man feel as though his entire body would be crushed. Thus, his sigh of relief.

Author's Final Notes: Guys, I want you to also check out a story with a lot of potential, called "Naruto: I was born with Talent, nothing more". This guy has an absurd amount of potential to improve and he made a great character. Besides, I might go on hiatus to write other stories. And I wanted to apologize for the fact that this chapter was short, I didn't want it to be so short, but I was out of ideas.
